Google Play top charts API

Pulling any of the store's charts by country, category and collection, and reading rank changes.

country is a two-letter code, category a Google Play category id, collection one of free, paid and grossing.

Answer

Each row has rank, previous_rank, change (a number of places, or "new"), the app's id, title, developer, icon, installs and score. The answer also carries the snapshot date and the previous snapshot it was compared with.

One app across all charts

/rankings?id=com.instagram.android returns every chart the app is in, the number of countries and its best rank.

Cost

2 tokens per chart page of up to 100 positions, 1 token per rankings lookup.
