FAQ

What is a token?

A token is the unit we bill requests in. An app record costs 1 token, lists (search, developer, new, removed, keywords) cost 2, available domains cost 3, categories and stats are free. The price table is above on this page.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Each pack is a one-time payment and nothing is charged automatically. When your tokens run out, buy another pack.

What does the first purchase unlock?

It unlocks 1,200 requests a minute, up to 20 API keys and data on available developer domains, for good.

When are the free tokens renewed?

On the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC. Unused free tokens don’t carry over; purchased tokens never expire.

What happens when I run out of tokens?

The API will answer 402 insufficient_credits. Buy a token pack: tokens are added right after payment.

Are tokens charged for errors?

No. If a request fails because of an error on our side, the tokens are returned automatically. A request for an app that isn't in the database is billed as usual.

What does Business include?

Developer contacts in app records and in /v1/developer (email, phone, address, legal name), more tokens and higher rate limits, database exports and company invoices. Terms are agreed individually.

How does payment work?

Payments are handled by Stripe — card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and never reach our servers. An invoice is emailed to you after every charge. With crypto (USDT, USDC), through our own payment gateway: you get an address and the exact amount, and the tokens are added once the transfer is confirmed on the network.
